Is the Bible God's Love Letter to You?

What does it mean to you when someone says the the Bible is God's love letter to you?

My experience with someone saying this to me why I was still seeking can be found at "Love Letter by the Sea".

    I agree that there are places in the bible that are like God's love letters or His heart of compassion towards us. Even within scriptures that call us to repent, I see the same, because God chastises those whom he loves. He is a loving Father. But that is my personal opinion.
