Why I Get PR4 In Google???

Yesterday I checked the Google Page Rank of my website www.handingchao.com, I amazingly found that it has a PR4! Oh, god bless me! It is the greatest news for me this year.

You know I do work very very hard and I deserve this PR4.

I have a google PR4 for a long time, not on my blog but on a different site, but its been years and I can't get it any higher. On the other hand, congrats, it is a very respectable number!

  Hello jude8753. Where did you check it. You know, some checkers don't update in time. You can check it with google toolbar. You can also check it using this tool seopen.com/seopen-tools/pagerank.php

Google may be right in the middle of the Google Dance right now -- see www.webworkshop.net/google-dance.html for info -- because I just checked the PR for my main Squidoo lens, and right now it's listed as 5, 7, or "N/A" depending on the Pagerank checker service I use. (It was PR 4 last month.)

My blog hasn't got a PR yet; it's too new!

Mine has been a 4 for a while on my jafabrit blog, a 3 for the arts council blog I run and 2 for the jafagirlart group blog. I hadn't checked the others so, it is nice to know

Usually Google update PR every 3 months, but they update more frequently these months. I don't know why. Maybe they have changed their policy.

  In order to improve page rank, i suggest writing honest and useful comments for famous sites like bits.blogs.nytimes.com. It will greatly improve your page rank. Keep one thing in mind, do not write rubbish, you should write honest things, don't cheat anyone. This is the key to success i think.

My allaboutfacts.blogspot.com was penalized too from PR 2 to zero when in fact there is not a single review in this blog..weird google!

dont be so happy.Even some of the very new and non-deserving blogs like mine are getting high pagerank ( my became 2 ). I think there is some bug and it will be removed soon.All the pageranks will come back to normal within may be a week.

actually Google PageRank is not that important for getting good results for website in search engines. Getting high rank in Google (or other search engines) for targeted keyword is more important. PageRank or PR is just a rank from 0-10 based on various factors. It can be different for different pages within a site. My site used to have PR4 last time I checked.

Congratulations for the PR4. I also have a PR4 on my Dracula blog, dracula-transylvania.blogspot.com/
However today I noticed my other blog outdoorholiday.blogspot.com/ went down from PR2 to PR0 suddenly and I'm wandering ....why ??

anyway i would prefer all my blogs to be PR0 but the traffic from Search Engines to be twice as big as it currently is.

There are many page rank checkers you can use. This one is for the Google DataCenter check www.mypagerank.net/service_googledcc_index
Using it your blog link to url www.handingchao.com returns a page rank of 2.

Nice. Interesting enough, my personal blog at www.lonnie.ws also has a PR of 4. I have done no SEO, and it has a horrible Alexa ranking, and almost no links to it. Anyone know how this is possible?

On the other hand, my site at www.meanpc.com ...I have done some SEO, and there are more links to it. It has a much higher Alexa ranking. But no Google PR yet, and I started it up around the same time as my other site. Weird.

Google has killed my Page Rank to zero! But I don't think it is bad news for me, because I have realized that Google PR means nothing now.

  But pagerank DOES mean something to Google: it affects your placement on their search engine. When John Chow lost his pagerank, he went to page 6 for HIS OWN NAME! (although, he has since been reinstated, he still, for some reason is not #1)
