I’m tired of looking at that week old post just like you, so I’m throwing in a filler.  Maybe S.A.D.1 has come early for me this year.  Right now, I would be quite content curling up in a dark cave and taking a long nap. Of course, my s...

  • Do Excuses Negate Responsibility?

Posted on Wednesday September 24th, 2008 at 00:00 in , goals, just thinking, life, organization, success, time management

I have a million of them, no not dollars, but excuses, especially when it comes to why I think I can’t do something. Some excuses are lame, some are funny and they are so easy to make up. In some ways, they had become my truth. I believed them. La...

  • A Million Little Pieces

Posted on Thursday September 18th, 2008 at 00:37 in

No matter what happens during my day, there is always that one thing that will break the camel’s back, send me into a deep abyss of failure and self-pity.  For me it’s being late.  I. Hate. Being. Late. Lately I have been horrible about...

If your life were a movie right now, what celebrity would get the lead role and what type of movie would it be? A drama? Documentary? Comedy? Science Fiction? Action? Thriller? If my life, right now, were a movie it would be a tragedy1 and based on p...

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your blog and your post about -- Flat Stanley -- caught my eye! I’ve been away from the classroom and school library since 2004; so I have not kept up with the “Flat Stanley” project as closely as I have in the past. But I’m thrilled to know that blogging is being incorporated in the process! Over the 9 years that I participated in this project, we lost 7 Stanleys. Blogging will certainly help with that problem not to mention the great photos, podcasting, and video streaming that can be incorporated too. This is excellent news indeed!

Quirky and a little off-beat. The way a good blog needs to be.
