I think you've done a fantastic job of exposing the mishandling of Rev 3:10 and John 17:15. The Bible is clear, so is the Greek language and even though some people ignore these things, they cannot change it. I chose to bow out of that conversation because that person has been shown the truth Biblically, with absolutely NO wiggle room whatsoever, and yet that person REFUSES to admit their error. You cannot talk to a person like that, you will not get through so it is futile. The Bible also warns us about throwing our pearls before swine and I think it applies in this case.
The bottom line, IF you are a child of God, and you are shown CLEARLY IN SCRIPTURE your error, and it's confirmed with ANOTHER verse using the exact same word and meaning, then you must concede. If you don't, then that shows that you HATE the truth and you love your doctrines and fables more. This is a person that does not have a teachable heart, does not love the truth, and that prefers to follow the way of the world with their itching ears.
And since they cannot convince you to reject God's Word and meaning the way they have, they get angry and lash out, and in this case, this person has given you a low rating of 2. This was done out of contempt for you and it was done in the flesh. That action gives another glimpse of their spiritual condition in that it shows their lack of love and fairness because that low rating was not warranted. It is a retaliation - something the secular world would do because you disagreed with them and have PROVEN them wrong.
So I'm giving you a 10 for defending the truth. Really, these ratings mean nothing because the Lord knows who's are His and who truly loves His truths. I'm giving you this rating to lend encouragement because I think you may need it plus it is deserved.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour (Greek, hora- season) of temptation (Greek, peirasmos- adversity or tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
The prerequisite to receiving the promise in this scripture is to patiently keep His Word or put another way,to be a consistent doer of the Word,full of faith!
There are many wonderful benefits to being the Bride, but the one that is mentioned in Revelation 3:10 certainly will be a welcome blessing.
The word From in Greek is as"out of" (Greek word, ek)
Jesus Christ promises to keep us "from" or as the Greek word reads, "out of " the season of tribulation that is about to come upon the whole world to try all those that are left behind to dwell upon the earth.
